Regional Focus South Asia ([WP9]

  1. To develop and engage in a dialogue with stakeholders with interests in the South Asia region and identify their requirements for the research relevant and ensure that project outputs address these needs
  2. To assess the impacts of climate change in this region implied by the current state-of-the-art regional climate projections
  3. To test and improve climate and impacts modelling against data in South Asia
  4. To improve understanding of socio-economic aspects of climate change in the region and socio-economic vulnerability, including existing and novel climate impact coping mechanisms
  5. To provide improved assessment of the impacts of climate change in the region using new climate and impacts models
